Sylvia Craig Hunter Dahlia was introduced by hybridizer Towns (Australia) in 1995.

Characteristics:

Form: Formal Decorative (FD). The blooms are very full, with smooth, broad petals arranged in a regular, uniform pattern that recurves toward the stem. The petals often have a "twisty-twirl backwards reflex," giving the bloom an informal elegance.

Colour: The color is complex and sought after for fall design, classified as Orange (OR) but described as muted coral, rich pumpkin-orange, bronze-clay-terracotta, or coppery-red.

Bloom Size: Medium (B). The flowers are a substantial size, typically measuring 6 to 8 inches ($15$ cm to $20$ cm) in diameter.

Height: A tall and vigorous plant, generally growing to a height of 4 to 6 feet ($1.2$ m to $1.8$ m).

Performance:

• Cut Flower Star: It is a high-value cut flower with excellent durability and a long vase life.
