FAQs
🌸 Tuber & Cutting Information
Thank you for supporting Makayla’s Meadow! Below are important details about our plants, sourcing, and care practices to help you shop with confidence.
🥔 TUBERS
- All plants are grown on-site, many in grow bags, and every photo is our own—what you see is what we grow.
- All tuber varieties are bloom-confirmed, meaning they’ve flowered true to name in our garden.
- Mother tubers were sourced from reputable Canadian sellers with strong track records.
✂️ CUTTINGS
- Many cutting varieties are bloom-confirmed.
- Some varieties acquired late in the season may not be confirmed—these will be clearly marked in product listings and will not have individual photos.
- All cuttings are sourced from highly reputable sellers, but unconfirmed varieties are offered with a gentle disclaimer: please purchase at your own discretion.
If a cutting turns out to be mislabeled, I’ll reach out to discuss options—this may include a refund or a replacement of the same or a different variety, depending on availability.
📦 CUTTING ORDER GUIDELINES
To ensure your cuttings arrive safely and thrive:
- Check your mailbox promptly after receiving your delivery notification. Tracking info will be provided.
- Cuttings should not be left outside or in the mailbox for extended periods.
- A detailed cuttings care guide will be included with your order—please follow it closely for best results.
âś… QUALITY PRACTICES
We take great care in growing and handling our plants:
- Cutting tools are sanitized between plants.
- Any plants showing signs of virus are disposed of immediately.
- Even plants that appear healthy but don’t grow robustly are removed from our inventory.
Before shipping, I inspect each tuber to ensure it is firm, viable, and has visible eyes or sprouts.
