The RM Karoline dahlia was introduced by River Merle Farm (RM) in 2025. It is a gorgeous, soft-hued variety named in honor of the hybridizer's mother-in-law.

Characteristics:

Form: Formal Decorative (FD). The blooms are dense and tidy, featuring layers of regular, slightly cupped petals that create a structured, rounded shape.

Colour: Soft Pink and Yellow Hues. The petals display a gentle wash of soft pink that often blends into or is highlighted by a delicate touch of yellow, particularly near the center.

Bloom Size: BB (Small-to-Medium). The flowers are perfectly sized for cutting, averaging approximately 3.5 inches across.

Height: Tall. This is a substantial plant, known to reach a height of around 5.5 feet (1.7 meters) with long, dark, and impressive stems.

Performance:  New Introduction, Expected Excellent Cutter. Bred by River Merle Farm, it is noted for its impressive height and long, dark stems, making it an ideal choice for high-end floral arrangements and bouquet work. It can display a more prominent green center earlier in the season, which tends to close up as the plant matures.
