RM Baby Girl Dahlia  was introduced in 2023 by River Merle Farm. I acquired two RM Baby Girl and they appear to be different so I thought it is better to separate them so you know what to expect. Both beautiful. This one is very prolific and an early bloomer.

Characteristics:

Form: Informal Decorative (ID) or Formal Decorative (FD)—The form is generally a dense, double bloom with petals that may be slightly wavy or curled (ID) or neatly layered (FD).

Color: Soft Blush Pink/Bi-Color—The primary colour is a delicate, porcelain or ballet pink, often with hints of coral or peach streaking, especially as the season cools.

Bloom Size: Approximately 3 to 4 inches (often 3.5 inches). It is classified as a Miniature (M) size dahlia, making it an ideal accent or bouquet filler.

Height: Typically grown between 3.5 to 4 feet.

Performance: An early and prolific bloomer on long, strong stems, making it an excellent variety for cutting gardens. Due to its light petal colour and delicate nature, it is often recommended to be grown in a location with afternoon shade or under a light shade cloth to prevent the petal tips from scorching in harsh sun and heat.
