Polventon Kristobel

Polventon Kristobel Dahlia is a miniature formal decorative variety introduced in 2016 by UK hybridizer Cyril Watkins, named in honor of his wife. 

Characteristics:

Form: Formal Decorative (FD)—Known for its highly dense, perfectly arranged petals that recurve toward the stem, giving it an extremely symmetrical and "formal" trait.

Color: Dark Pink (DP), often described as a Dusky Pink, Rosy Red-Pink, or Dusty Raspberry Watermelon with distinct Gold or Yellow Tips on the petals.

Bloom Size: Miniature (M)—Blooms are typically up to 4 inches (7–10 cm) in diameter, with a common reported size of 3.5 inches.

Height: Medium to Tall, generally ranging from 3.5 to 4 feet (100–120 cm).

Performance: Its impeccable, symmetrical form and the striking contrast of the deep pink/raspberry petals with their elegant gold-tipped edges. It is an excellent cut flower with strong stems and a good vase life.
