Normandy Bright Day Dahlia was hybridized by B & D Schwink in the USA and introduced around 2002.

Characteristics:

Form: Informal Decorative (ID)—The petals (ray florets) are broad but often slightly twisted, waved, or curled, giving the bloom a lush, slightly tousled, and "informal" appearance.

Color: Bronze (BR) / Light Blend (LB)—The color is its most defining feature, often described as a blend of light orange, peach, apricot, and soft pink, with an overall warm, bronze tone. The color can evolve as the flower matures, starting more peachy and shifting towards richer bronze and pink dustings.

Bloom Size: Medium (B) to Small (BB)—Blooms are typically 6 to 8 inches (15–20 cm), though some growers report a slightly smaller size of 5 to 6 inches, fitting the Small (BB) category.

Height: Tall, typically growing between 4 and 5 feet (120–155 cm).

Performance: Highly regarded as a prolific and excellent cut flower. The generous, full blooms have good vase life, and the unique, warm coloration makes it a highly desirable addition to fall bouquets and garden borders.
