Mystique Dahlia was hybridized by Swan Island Dahlias and introduced in 1994.

Characteristics:

Form: Formal Decorative (FD)—The bloom is fully double with flat, broad petals that are uniformly and regularly arranged, giving the flower a neat, formal appearance.

Color: Dark Pink (DP) / Pink Blend (PB)—The color is its most sophisticated trait, featuring a rich, complex blend:

• Primary Color: A deep, smoky raspberry, dusty rose, or dark pink.
• Secondary Color: The petals have an elegant, ombre or frosted effect, with the tips gently fading to lighter pink, coral, or a smoky mauve, giving the bloom an "antique" look.
• The overall effect is a multi-tonal, moody dark pink blend.

Bloom Size: Small (BB)—Blooms are consistently sized at 4 to 6 inches (10–15 cm) in diameter, with many growers reporting the size as exactly 4 inches.

Height: Tall, ranging from 4 to 5 feet (120–150 cm).

Performance: An excellent producer that blooms prolifically throughout the season. Its tall, strong stems and unique, trending color make it an outstanding, long-lasting cut flower highly valued in floral design.
