Miss Amara is hybridized by H. Brase (USA) and introduced in 2007.
Characteristics:
Form: Formal Decorative (FD)—The blooms are fully double with a refined, symmetrical structure, featuring smooth, flat petals that are uniformly arranged and recurve neatly toward the stem.
Color: Light Blend (LB) / Yellow-Orange (YO)—A gorgeous, shifting blend of warm colors:
- Primary Color: Golden Honey, Peach, or Soft Yellow-Orange.
- Blend/Undertones: Often has delicate rose, rosy-wash, or peachy-pink undertones, particularly on the outer petals or when the bloom first opens. The color tends to fade towards a softer yellow or beige as the season progresses.
Bloom Size: Small (BB)—Blooms are consistently sized between 4 and 6 inches (10–15 cm) in diameter, with a typical size of 5 inches.
Height: Medium to Tall, growing vigorously to approximately 4 feet (120 cm) or slightly taller.
Performance: Vigorous and floriferous. Blooms from midsummer to frost with long, sturdy stems ideal for cutting. Vase life is approximately 5 days when harvested at three-quarters open.
