Karma Prospero Dahlia was introduced by Gebr. Verwer (Netherlands) in 2004.

Characteristics:

Form: Waterlily (WL)—fully double blooms with broad, slightly involute petals that create a shallow, saucer-like silhouette.

Color: A variable Light Blend (LB), primarily a sophisticated Lilac-Pink or Soft Lavender. The color intensity often shifts with the weather and time of day, sometimes displaying darker pink veins, tips, or subtle creamy/gold highlights toward the center.

Bloom Size: BB to A (Small to Medium), with blooms typically ranging from 4 to 6 inches (10–15 cm) in diameter.

Height: A tall plant, growing between 3 to 4 feet (90–120 cm).

Performance: Part of the award-winning Karma Series, bred specifically for the cut flower industry. Blooms prolifically from July until frost, with strong stems that hold up beautifully in arrangements—even in rain. Vase life is exceptional: 7–12 days, making it a florist favorite. Best flowering occurs in full sun; light shade is welcome in hot climates.
