Parkland Tribute Dahlia is a richly colored formal decorative variety introduced in 2006 by Canadian hybridizer Jim Rowse.
Characteristics:
Form: Formal Decorative (FD)—fully double blooms with tightly layered petals in a rounded, sculptural silhouette.
Color: Rich coral-magenta with a soft lavender sheen in cooler light. The color is classified as DP8 (Dark Pink) by the American Dahlia Society, and it glows with warmth and depth throughout the season.
Bloom Size: Small (ADS BB classification), typically 4–6 inches across.
Height: Vigorous grower, reaching 6+ feet (180+ cm) in ideal conditions.
Performance: Exceptionally productive, with strong stems and abundant blooms. Produces generous tubers with good eyes that store well.
